According to achaeological evidence the winemaking is Georgia strechtes back over 8,000 years of history. That's why it's frequently called the Cardle of Wine. Georgian traditional whinemaking process involves pressing endemic grape varieties and then pouring the juice, grape skins, stalks and pips into the Kvevri (egg-shaped earthenware vessel), which is sealed and burried in the ground so that the wine can ferment for five to six months.
Thank you for choosing our amber Kisi, which comes from Kakheti region, Ozhio village of Akhmeeta zone. It first reveals a sweet aroma, with notes of tropical fruits and dried fruit (e.g., dried banana). The wine is structured with a light tannins and pleasant acidity. Almost meaty on the nose, with a lemony palate and salty herbal finish.
