According to achaeological evidence the winemaking is Georgia strechtes back over 8,000 years of history. That's why it's frequently called the Cardle of Wine. Georgian traditional whinemaking process involves pressing endemic grape varieties and then pouring the juice, grape skins, stalks and pips into the Kvevri (egg-shaped earthenware vessel), which is sealed and burried in the ground so that the wine can ferment for five to six months.
This golden wine made from Tsolikouri grapes is harvested in the village Obcha - one of the Micro-zonesof Tsolikouri. It's fermented and aged in a stainless tank. The wine is prominent for its rich fruit flavors and mineral ending, suitable for fish and poultry dishes, Khachapuri, cheese and fruits. Desirable to cool.
